Transcend: UTM with UTD22 Asset Creation

1 – Log in to Transcend Platform.

2 – Click on START menu on the top-left corner

3 – A pop-up window will appear. Select the ADMINISTRATION menu.

4 – Select the RTU Page.

5 – Type the RTU (device) ID number in the search field box.

6 – Click on APPLY.

7 – Click on the device ID to open the RTU editor.

8 – The RTU editor will open. Scroll down until the AI channels section.

9 –  Channel B should appear underneath Channel A. If you cannot see channel B in the AI channels section, follow steps 10 to 12.

10 – This device does not have channel B created to read the pressure reading. Click on “Add Channel B”.

11 – A message in color green showing “Changes saved successfully” will appear at the top of the page.

12 – Channel B has been created successfully and is now shown available in the list of AI channels.

13 – Select the Asset Page.

14– Click on QUICK ADD button on the top-right corner.

15 – Select the option “Tank”.

16 – The page “Add Tank Asset” will open.

17 – On section “Asset Information”, you will need to provide the Site location and the Tank Description.

18 – Add the Site info. If existing site type in the field box to search. If new location, click on “Add” next to “Site”.

19 – Type the Tank Title / Asset Name.

20 – (OPTIONAL) For the Asset to appear as a template option in the Field IG APP during a new installation, please enable the template option.

21 – On section “Tank Details”, you’ll need to provide the UTM Serial Number, Tank Type, Level sensor and channel, Pressure sensor and channel, Maximum Tank Capacity and Product Type.

22 – In the “RTU” field box, type the UTM Serial Number and select the correct option.

23 – Select the Tank Type.

24 – In the “Level Sensor” field box, type “UTM UTD22 - SENS-4005-600 – Level (DP)” and select the correct option.

25 – In the “Level Channel” field box, select option “A”.

26 – Type the Product Maximum Capacity (in units: in WC).

27 – In the “Pressure Sensor” field box, type “UTM UTD22 - SENS-4005-600 – Pressure (P)” and select the correct option.

28 – In the “Pressure Channel” field box select option “B”.

WARNING: If channel B does not appear available to choose for the Pressure sensor, please see steps 4 to 12 to create channel B manually.

29 – Select the Product or create a new one.

30 (OPTIONAL) – RECOMMENDED: In the “Events” section, select the correct option for the “Event Rule Group”.

31 (OPTIONAL) - RECOMMENDED: Set up:

• Reorder Alarm 
• Critical Alarm

32 (OPTIONAL) – RECOMMENDED: Click on “Save & Close” button in the top-right corner.

NOTE: After the asset is created, go to the Level data channel to finish activating the Level alarms.

33 – A pop-up window will appear stating that the asset has been created.

34 – Set up: Click “View Details” to view the Asset.
