UNIFY - METERS TRAINING GUIDE (CONTINUED)
METER DEPLOYMENT
19 – Open the Operations Menu.
20 – Click on “NEW DEPLOYMENT” button.
21 – Select the option “METERS”.
22 – A new pop-up window will appear.
23 – Fill the required fields.
24 – Click on NEXT button.
25 – Fill the required fields: Meter Number; and Meter Template.
By selecting the Meter template, the following fields will be automatically populated:
Unit
Meter Reading Format
Multiplier
Units per pulse
Product
Note: The Tank field is optional and will not be filled automatically.
26 – Click “NEXT”.
27 – Type the device Serial Number and select it.
28 – Select the Device’s Channel.
29 – Click on “FINISH” button.
30 – The screen will refresh and automatically go to the Tank Page to the Meters tab.
31 – A message in color green stating “The meter <Meter number> was created in site <Site Name>.” in the top-right corner.
METER MANAGEMENT
32 – On the graph the user will see by default the monthly data. The time range can be changed to: daily; quarterly: and yearly.
The data represent the Meter consumption over time.
33 – The METER VALUE can be viewed in the top-left corner.
34 – On the right-side column, the user can scroll down to access the METER info related.
35 – To see the accumulated data over that time period, hover the cursor over the graph and a tooltip will appear automatically.
36 – Edit the time range to the desired range.
37 – In this example, the time range selected was “LAST WEEK”.
EDIT METER
38 – To edit a meter, click on the “…” icon next to the meter name on the top-right corner.
39 – Click on “EDIT”.
40 – A pop-up window will appear. Edit the necessary fields and click on “SAVE” to apply the changes.
41 – The screen will refresh and go automatically to the Tank page. On the top-right corner a message in color green will appear stating “The meter <METER NAME> has been updated.”.
DELETE METER
42 – To delete a meter, click on the “…” icon next to the meter name on the top-right corner.
43 – Click on “DELETE”.
44 – A pop-up window will appear requesting confirmation and stating that all assets in this site will be deleted and no longer monitored, and their devices will be unlinked. Click on “DELETE” to confirm.
45 – The screen will refresh and go automatically to the METERS page. On the top-right corner a message in color green will appear stating “The meter <METER NAME> has been deleted.”.
ADJUST METER
46 – To adjust a meter, click on the “…” icon next to the meter name on the top-right corner.
47 – Click on “ADJUST”.
48 – A pop-up window will appear.
49 – The following fields can be edited:
- READING DATE;
- READING TIME;
- NEW VALUE;
- TYPE.
50 – The NEW VALUE needs to be confirmed by inserting the value in the field “CONFIRM NEW VALUE”.
51 - Click on “SAVE” to apply the changes.
52 – A message will appear to confirm stating “Adjust meter? Meter readings after this date and time will be recalculated based on this change. Are you sure you want to adjust this meter?”. Click “SAVE” to confirm.
53 – The screen will refresh and go back automatically to the Tank page. On the top-right corner a message in color green will appear stating “The meter <METER NAME> has been adjusted.”.
DOWNLOAD READINGS
54 – To download the reading of the selected timeframe, click on “ACTIONS” button.
55 – Select the option “DOWNLOAD READINGS”.
56 – The system will download a file with the readings of all assets of that site.
METER REPORTS
CREATE NEW REPORT
57 – To create a new report, on the METERS page, click on the “ACTIONS” button.
58 – Select the option “SAVE AS NEW REPORT”.
59 – A pop-up window will appear. Insert the desired NAME for the NEW REPORT.
60 – Click on CREATE REPORT.
61 – The screen will refresh and go back automatically to the METERS page. A message in color green stating “The report was created successfully.” will appear in the top-right corner.
EDIT REPORT
62 – To edit an existing report, on the METERS page, click on the “ACTIONS” button.
63 – Select the option “EDIT REPORT SETTINGS”.
64 – On the DETAILS tab, on the VISIBILITY section, the user can set up the report to PRIVATE or PUBLIC:
- PRIVATE: Only the user can see this report.
- PUBLIC: Anyone on the selected distributor can access this report.
65 – Click on COLUMNS tab to move to the next section.
66 – On the COLUMNS tab, new FILTER options are available under METER section:
- Meter Number
- Meter Product
- Meter Value
- Meter Last Reading
- Meter Estimated Usage
- Meter Usage MTD
- Meter Usage YTD
67 – To apply these new filters, drag them to the right-side column “SELECTED” and click on “SAVE REPORT”.
68 – The screen will refresh and go back automatically to the METERS page. A message in color green stating “The report was saved successfully.” will appear in the top-right corner.
METERS ON MAPS
69 – In the Operations Menu, select the MAPS page.
70 – By default, the map can show multiple asset types (e.g., tanks, meters) depending on the asset types enabled at the distributor level.
71 – To see the meter details, hover the cursor over the icon and a tooltip will appear.
72 – To add more filter options click on the SETTINGS icon.
73 – Select the filters desired by dragging them from the Available column to the Selected column. Remove any undesired filters by doing the opposite (dragging from the Selected column to the Available column). Click SAVE to apply these changes.
74 – Click “SAVE” to apply the filters to the map. The filters applied will appear available at the top of the MAP and inside the icon tooltip.
75 – The filters selected will be available at the top of the MAP. In this example the following filters are available:
- Site;
- Last Reading;
- Capacity;
- Tank;
- Tank level;
- Tank Volume;
- Meter Number;
- Meter Value;
- Meter Last Reading;
- Meter Estimated Usage.
76 – For example, for the filter “METER NUMBER”, the user can filter the name in three different ways, by “is”, “contains” or “not contains”.
77 – Click “APPLY” to apply the filter to the map.
