UTM Activation + Float Gauge (SC645) Installation

PARTS REQUIRED:

• UTM key for bracket removal
• Phillips Head Screwdriver 
• UTM activation wand (magnet)
• Float Gauge / Dial SC645 (magnetic mount)
• UTM back bracket
• Port plug
• UTM

STEP 01 - Record reading and remove old dial.

STEP 02 - Install sender. Refer to SC645 Sender Install guide for alternate Gauge Instructions.

WARNING: Ensure adapter recess is aligned under the cable.

STEP 3 - Confirm reading is identical.

WARNING: This step is critical to complete before proceeding.

STEP 04 - Firmly insert Port Plug into Socket B to ensure proper sealing. Firmly insert connector into socket A to ensure proper sealing. The UTM will begin to activate automatically; Watch for solid green to confirm successful communication. 

WARNING: Confirm O-Rings are in place.

STEP 05 - Attach bracket. 

STEP 06 - Align on tank central axis.

WARNING: For reliable communications, select location not closer than 15cm / 6'' from metal fittings (e.g. tank lid).

STEP 07 (OPTIONAL) - If manual activation is required, hold the activation wand in place for 6 seconds. Watch for solid green to confirm successful communication. 

NOTE: If bracket removal is required during service or install, insert removal key into keyslot.
