- First of all you need to be logged in and have admin access to the Domain.
-
Then, go to "Start"
3. And, if not selected, select the "Asset" option.
4. Select the "Quick Add" option on the right side of the page and click "Tank".
5. Fill up all the Asset details and information.
Note: If you don't have a Site created, click on the "Add" button and fill up the information on the location of the tank.
6. When you scroll down to the "Tank Details" part, insert the ID Number and select the "Tank Type" by selecting the "Set Tank Dimensions (volumetrics)" option.
7. Then, click on the "Add" option to add your tank dimensions.
Note: A recommendation from Anova is that you add a new tank dimension for every tank you create, this will allow to troubleshoot and calibrate the tank easily if needed. If you use the same profile for 2 tanks, for example, if you change one of the dimensions on one of the tanks, it will change on all of the tanks that have the same tank profile template.
8. When the "Add Tank Dimensions" menu opens, fill up the information of your tank, Tank Information and Dimensions.
9. After you finishing up this part, scroll down the page and turn on the "Use Strapping Chart For Graph" option.
10. Then, press the option "Generate Strapping Points" to generate the Strapping Chart.
11. When the "Strapping Chart" is generated, you can hit the "Save & Close" button on the top right corner of the page.
Note: In here you can select the level and volume units, but this is just in volume, if you want in weight, its exactly the same way but you will be able to change it after.
12. After you are back to the main asset creation page, you will be needing to select the sensor. Make sure you select the correct one, because if you select a voltage sensor for a milliamp unit, it will give you wrong readings.
13. For this example, we will be using a Voltage sensor, as this is a DPW125. My sensor will be a PVC 10 meter cable sensor. The template should have the size and the material of the sensor on it.
As you can see on the image below, there are different sizes and current types of sensors.
4-20mA is the Milliamp sensor and the 5v is the Voltage sensor, the value that goes between () is the length of the sensor in inches being 197in = 5 meter and 394in = 10 meter.
14. When you select the sensor that you have, just insert the correct Display Units that you wish, now you can select whatever unit you want, being volume or weight and then insert the Max Capacity of your tank in that same unit that you selected previously.
Note: Don't select anything in the "Pressure" side, as this sensors don't have a pressure reading on the device, it's atmospherically pressure. To add a second channel on the same unit, do the same process, but, instead of selecting channel 1 on the Level Channel, select channel 2.
15. After that, just select the product that you have on the tank and scroll down to select the Event Rule Group.
16. To finalize, just click on the "Save & Close" on the top right corner of your page.
