This guide explains how to activate Port B (TX2) on a UTM monitor within Wesroc.net. Follow the steps below to configure and manage your transmitter settings.
Steps to Activate Port B/TX2
Step 1 – Access the Device Page
- Log in to your Wesroc.net account.
- Access the UTM monitor you want to configure.
Step 2 – Add a Transmitter
- On the device page, click the option “Add a Transmitter.”
- This will open the transmitter configuration form.
Step 3 – Edit the Transmitter Information
- Enter the required details for the transmitter:
- Name – Assign a clear identifier for the transmitter.
- Capacity – Specify the capacity value appropriate for your monitoring setup.
- Sensor Type – Select the correct sensor type from the available options.
- Save your changes to create Port B. Make sure to activate the monitor for both ports to be activated.
Additional Notes
- In Wesroc.net, Port A is named TX1 and Port B is named TX2.
You can switch between transmitters by clicking View TX1 or View TX2 (or delete TX2) on the device page.
- After activation, verify that TX2 is reporting correctly by checking the device status indicators.
- If data does not appear, refresh the page or recheck the transmitter configuration.
Verification
Once Port B (TX2) is activated:
- TX2 will appear as active in the device overview.
- Transmitter data will populate in the monitoring dashboard.
- Alerts and notifications tied to TX2 will function as configured.
