If you have multiple Domains, make sure you are in the one where the Asset Group will be added.
Click on the "Start" button, located on the top left corner of the screen.
Then, select the "Administration" option.
4. When you are on the "Administration" dashboard, click on the "Group" button.
5. Now, to create an Asset Group, press "Add Asset Group".
6. Fill up the Description, this will be the name of the Group.
7. On the Asset Selection Criteria, you will be able to select a specific quantity of tanks. You will need to add Parameters to specify the tanks that you like.
8. The "Parameters" can be as you wish, you can select by Asset Description, by City, by Country, by Zip Code, and many other options, the more parameters you use, the more specific the Asset Group will be.
9. The "Logic" is for you to search for the asset and for it to be allowed to find. The "Like" option, is more for a similar work or number, for example, if you don't complete the word and only search for the first 3 letters, it will show you all the Assets with those 3 letters. If you select the "=" option you will have to insert the entire Parameter value for you to find the desired Asset.
10. The "Value" is the criteria that will define the selection of the tank.
11. This is optional, in case you want to use more that on criteria, you can use the option "And/Or".
This allows you to create the group with multiple Parameters (And) or to create with different Parameters that are very similar, by making the system choose between them (Or)
Example:
This will show you all the Assets that have the "Asset Description", Demo.
12. To verify which tanks/assets will show up on your dashboard, press the "View selected asset".
13. When you are finished, and it shows the correct tanks. The Group is created.
Note: You can directly add Users from this page, if they are already on the system. Just fill the search bar with the Username and press the button "Add".
